Sally Rothstein

Community Engagement Manager

Since 2023

Sally made Colorado Springs her home after receiving Bachelor degrees in Elementary Education and Education of the Acoustically Handicapped from the University of Northern Colorado. She has learned from and contributed to missions in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors for over 30 years through work in training and leadership development, volunteer and program management, as well as partnership and fund development with organizations such as USAA, Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care, Memorial Health System (now UC Health), Verus Global, and Project Angel Heart. Sally brings her rich and accomplished experience aligning people, missions and results within the for-profit and non-profit sectors into her role, to expand our tutoring partnerships and our capacity to support our young students in building their confidence as they improve their literacy.

In addition, one of her passion projects was leading and singing with Pikes Peak Threshold Singers for 13 years.  Sally is having an especially good day when facilitating and enjoying fulfilling experiences, spending time with loved ones (two- and four-legged), hiking a trail, on a cycling or travel adventure, or singing a sweet song. Sally joined the Children’s Literacy Center in January 2023.
