Sandy McGraw

Director of Programs

Since Summer 2019

As Program Manager for the Pikes Peak Region, Sandy is responsible for 12 sites, including Monument and Woodland Park.  Sandy works directly with each Site Coordinator to promote, support and recruit both volunteers and students for the program.   Sandy is a big believer in communication and positive thinking in the workplace.   Her motto is “Let’s see if we can create a win-win solution.”

Prior to starting with the Children’s Literacy Center, Sandy was employed by the U.S. Olympic Committee for nearly 15 years.  She has in her arsenal of skillset – event planning, organizational skills and mad gaffing tape layout skills.  Sandy was lucky enough to travel to every Olympic & Paralympic game since 2010.

Sandy is married and has three adult children.  She has two spoiled dogs, enjoys watching her husband play in a band, loves a good book and can be found singing along to the car radio as she drives.
